In the rapidly evolving world of technology, M’mah Zombo shines as a trailblazing force, driven by a passion for innovative tech solutions that transform society.

A software engineering student at ALX Africa and a junior frontend engineer at Korlie Limited, Zombo’s journey is marked by a dedication to shaping a better world through her tech prowess, with climate action as a testament to her vision.

M’mah’s exceptional achievements extend to creating tech solutions that empower society. M’mah recently developed a Weather Web App, inspired by her desire to contribute to one of the UN’s global goals, she chose Sustainable Development Goal 13, which is to “take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.”

Her web app helps users know the current weather conditions and forecasts for the next 12 hours of any location they search for. Through this ingenious creation, Zombo empowers individuals to make informed decisions and take action for a sustainable future.

The web app is just the first phase of Zombo’s ambitious vision. She plans to expand the app into a comprehensive platform offering various climate-related features and resources.

With her innovative approach and determination, she aims to create a hub for climate action, where individuals can access valuable information, collaborate on sustainability initiatives, and be part of a global movement towards a greener and more sustainable planet
From the onset of her educational journey at Josuel Preparatory School, she displayed an extraordinary aptitude, topping her class at the National Primary School Examination with an impressive aggregate of 356, and securing the third-best overall candidate.

As she continued her educational journey at Annie Walsh Memorial School, Zombo soared to new heights, achieving an exceptional aggregate of 7 at the Basic Education Certificate Examination and securing the 7th position overall in the country. Her academic brilliance marked the beginning of a remarkable trajectory.

Her passion for tech was borne when she was selected to participate in a Science fair hosted by the president of the Engineering Society, Ing. Trudy Morgan.

In her own words “That fair, was a life-changing event for me. I got my hands on cool tech stuff, learned about computer programming and I and my team get to experiment with what we learned by building a smart traffic light that helps control traffic flow brilliantly….I fell in love with tech ever since”

M’mah’s visionary plans extend beyond her web app’s success. Her ambition lies in leveraging technology to solve diverse challenges faced by communities worldwide.

Whether it’s streamlining access to education, improving healthcare delivery, or enhancing communication, she is driven to create a lasting impact.

From an early age, M’mah displayed a natural flair for technology and computer science, as a software engineering student at ALX Africa, she continues to unleash her potential and drive for technological excellence.

Zombo’s skills and dedication caught the attention of industry professionals, leading her to become a junior frontend engineer at Korlie Limited, a technology company that aims at solving real-life Challenges using technology with an Inclusive Approach.

In this role, she applies her expertise to develop innovative solutions and contribute to meaningful projects.
