Siera Leone’s very own fashion influencer and talented musician, Neneh Ada Yang, widely recognized by her stage name “Queenak,” has recently been appointed as a Peace Ambassador by two prominent American institutions.
The American University USA and The Academy of Universal Global Peace USA have recognized Queenak’s outstanding contributions to the promotion of peace, unity, and cultural exchange through her creative endeavors.
Queenak’s rise to fame has been nothing short of remarkable. Her unique sense of style and musical talent have captivated audiences both locally and internationally. As a true representative of Siera Leonean fashion, Queenak has effectively used her platform to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage and advocate for positive social change.
The American University USA, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and global engagement, has recognized Queenak’s ability to bridge the gap between fashion, music, and diplomacy.
Queenak is a contemporary Artist, musical artist, visual artist (professional painter), TV Personality, humanitarian and Fashion Designer. She was crowned the Queen of Embrix and also the Vice President of the student union 2011 – 2012 academic year in college. Queennak has been helping the poor and needy through her Queennak Foundation projects. She uses the funds raised through the seeling of her music, her paintings and her designs to help the poor, needy and to empower the youth. During the Ebola outbreak, Queenak raised and donated 300,000$ to Sierra Leone Guinea and Liberia
