Addressing members of the army during a Christmas gathering, Sierra Leone’s President, Jukius Maada Bio, conveyed gratitude to the armed forces for their swift action in thwarting the attempted coup.
Despite being caught off guard, President Bio commended the army, stating they did a commendable job in quelling the insurrection on November 26th.
