The Chief Executive Officer of the National Public Procurement Authority, and  President of the Ibrahim Brima Swaray Foundation, Ibrahim Brima Swaray has on Monday 8th August 2022 launched the second edition of the Free Summer School at College Secondary school in Kenema district.

The event was graced by school going pupils from various schools across the national Capital, Freetown.

It comes days after, the first edition was launched at the Methodist Primary and Secondary School which attracted about a thousand pupils within the Kenema locality.

Mr Manna Massaquoi, Country Director of the the foundation said the Free Summer school is to compliment President Julius Maada Bio, Free Quality Education in an effort encourage the pupils to study hard and to be serious in their academic work.

Speaking at the event, the Country Director, Mr Manna Massaquoi said “ You are super lucky because you have someone who has organized Free Summer school classes, our days in schools,  we didn’t have such opportunities  like this so please I courage you all to attend the classes”

The CEO of the foundation, Chief Ibrahim Brima Swaray, said that he is very excited, especially for the girls.

“I know how women are going all the extra mile just to see that their child is educated, that is why Her Excellency Madam Fatima Jabbie Bio, brought the “Hands Off Our Girls”  project to prevent men from the  girl” he added.

Hawa Brima from Methodist Girls Secondary school, told Salonemessangers.com that she is very happy for the Free Summer school classes because it will add impact in their lives.

“I have received six exercise books, a pen, pencil, and eraser. Since I was born this is the only foundation that is bringing free Summer School classes” she stated.
