A brilliant Sierra Leonean lady has stood against all odds to achieve her dream as an accomplished lawyer. Leona Kondovoh met with a heartbroken event when she lost both her parents in five months’ time. Despite daunting challenges, she never give up she stood strong to sit for her final Bar Exams in September 2021.

Leona Kondovoh who was happy about her success in the prestigious profession revealed her excitement on her Facebook page noting her sadness for the loss of both her parents in less thank 5 months.

Leona Kondovoh attended Holy Family Pre-School Blama Road and later Holy Rosary Primary School. She did her junior high school at the Kamboi Lebanese International School Kenema and her high school at the Harford School for Girls, Moyamba, Sierra Leone.

Despite daunting challenges, she never give up she stood strong to sit for her final Bar Exams in September 2021

Leona studied for her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) at the University of Makeni (UNIMAK). During the most prospective years of her life, she met with a heartbroken event when Leona lost both her parents in five months’ time. She was admitted to the Sierra Leone Law School in 2021. During her course of Study at the Law School, she lost both parents in less than 5 months.

Despite daunting challenges, she never give up she stood strong to sit for her final Bar Exams in September 2021.

Leona’s wish was for her parents to see her in a wig and gown but they can’t live longer to witness the moment. According to Leona, her Dad was and will always be her Superman.

None of these irreparable losses deterred Leona from pursuing her dreams as she still went ahead to study law and graduate and today she has been called to the bar.
