Mother of Late Model Victor Onie Williams Dies After Long Fight for Justice

Madam Ebiduni Onie Williams, the mother of the late Victor Onie Williams, has passed away. Her death has brought fresh pain to many Sierra Leoneans who followed her long and emotional search for justice after the loss of her son.

Victor Onie Williams was a well-known Sierra Leonean model and fashion figure. He also gained public attention as a former reality TV contestant. His life was cut short on December 5, 2024. At first, reports said he died from a medical emergency. Days later, an autopsy proved otherwise.

Medical findings showed that Victor was brutally killed. The autopsy results indicated very serious injuries such as blunt force fractures on his head, neck, and abdominal region. Moreover, there were traces of strangulation. The news left the nation stunned and calling for justice.

From the day the truth came out, Madam Ebiduni became the strongest voice for her son. For nearly two years, she spoke openly about her pain. She pleaded with authorities to investigate properly and to hold those responsible accountable. Many people remember her interviews, public appeals, and quiet dignity as she carried a grief no parent should bear.

Sadly, justice never came while she was alive.

The cause of Madam Ebiduni’s death has not been officially confirmed. However, there are people who feel that the impact of losing her son in so brutal a manner and the wait for justice may have been too much for her to handle. Her death has reignited wounds for those seeking answers in Victor’s case. It is tragic for many that this mother, who struggled so much for justice for her son, did not get to see it realized.
