Lake Production Limited, the organizing company behind the highly anticipated Miss Freetown Beauty Pageant, has recently announced the 12 finalists for the upcoming 2023 edition of the prestigious event. Traditionally held in December, this pageant showcases the beauty and talent of young women from Freetown, with the winner earning the chance to represent Sierra Leone in international pageants.
The 12 finalists hail from different communities within Freetown and will be competing fiercely for the coveted crown. Among them is Zainab Vee Rugiatu Tarawallie, representing Miss Wilkinson Road. Zainab is not only a model but also a student at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), pursuing a degree in Applied Accounting. Another contestant, Favour Kadija Marah, representing Miss Brima Lane, is an 18-year-old model and a second-year student at IPAM.
Adama Ella Kargbo, representing Miss P.W.D, is a 20-year-old model and singer who will be showcasing her talents on the stage. Haja Mariama Kalatu Sesay, representing Miss Wellington, is a multi-talented contestant who excels in various fields such as fashion design, social entrepreneurship, and nursing. She is currently studying at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) and is the CEO of Kalsal’s Fashion Design and Kalsal Beauty Makeover.
Odia H Tarawally, representing Miss Wilberforce, is a young and promising student at the University of Makeni (UNIMAK). Emma Tejan Cole, representing Miss Waterloo, is not only a dancer and singer but also a poet. She is currently studying Procurement and Logistics at IPAM. Ashmau Bah, representing Miss Brookfields, is a final year student at IPAM.
Sarafina K Kargbo, representing Miss Central, is a model and student at Fourah Bay College, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Gender and Development Studies. Mary Juliet Sia Kainessie, representing Miss Lumley, is a multi-talented contestant with skills in makeup artistry, laboratory technology, entrepreneurship, pageant coaching, and public figure representation.
Emma Farma, representing Miss Goderich, is a 25-year-old student at BlueCrest College. Aminata Aminango Mansaray, representing Miss Cline Town, is a graduate of NEBOSH online training programs specializing in health, safety, and environment (HSE/EHS). She is also the founder and CEO of Aminango Modelling Agency. Lastly, Nyamacoro Marah, representing Miss Kissy, is a 21-year-old Law Student at Fourah Bay College, USL.
