A brilliant Sierra Leonean lady has emerged as the best female student at the University of Makeni with a 4.75 CGPA. She got 51As and 11Bs with no C.
Fanta Barba Kamara has emerged as the best female student at the University pursuing degree in public health.
MFanta Barba was born, raised and attended school in Freetown. She left for Makeni in 2019 to pursue a degree in Public Health. She has the desire to accomplish all the goals she has set for herself and with an outstanding academic journey she is already ticking the boxes. Her mantra is “Always do your absolute best and let Allah take care of the rest”.
She is Class of 2022 Best Female student at the University of Makeni with a 4.75 CGPA. She got 51As and 11Bs with no C. Fanta together with some of colleagues worked as a group for their dissertation work titled “Assessing The Knowledge, Attitude, And Perception of Hand Hygiene Practices Among Healthcare Workers in Makeni, Sierra Leone”. A project she is very passionate about.
