Officials noted that statistics such as goals, assists, saves, match influence, and team performance are first reviewed by a technical panel. After this, experts give their ratings before fan votes are added to complete the process. This method, the board said, helps prevent bias and ensures that awards go to players and coaches who truly perform well during the month.
The Premier League Board also explained that fan voting is only part of the final score and does not decide the winner alone. The aim, according to the league, is to balance professional judgment with public opinion while maintaining credibility in the competition.
