Fulbright scholarship holder Lawyer Jayne Flyne Sankoh to pursue Masters in Public Policy at University of Indiana in USA
A young Sierra Leonean lawyer and founder of the Brighter Future Foundation, Jayne Flyne Sankoh, holder of a USA Fulbright scholarship has travelled to the United States Of America to pursue Masters in Public Policy at University of Indiana

The US, Embassy Sierra Leone official Facebook page made the announcement that Jayne Flyne Sankoh and Joan Bull who will be going for a Masters in Public Affairs at the University of Indiana and Joan Bull, who will be going for an LLM in Law at the University of New Hampshire respectively.
“U.S. Embassy Freetown says goodbye and good luck to two departing Fulbright scholars, Jayne Flynn Sankoh, who will be going for a Masters in Public Affairs at the University of Indiana and Joan Bull, who will be going for an LLM in Law at the University of New Hampshire. Mahmud Sheku is already in the United States studying for a Masters in Public Health at the Georgia State University. Every year, the U.S. Embassy sends a minimum of 47 Sierra Leoneans to the United States on different cultural exchange programs. The United States remains a committed partner for international education in Sierra Leone.”
Jayne will return to Sierra Leone to bless this country with all she has gained.

She will spend the next two years pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at America’s number one School in Public Affairs – the Paul O’Neill School of Public Affairs and Environmental services, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
Jayne, the entire CGSL is happy and proud of you. You fill us with utmost joy and confidence when you say you will showcase Sierra Leone to the world and you will come back to share knowledge with not just CGSL, but the entire country.

Jayne Flynn – Sankoh holds a BA(Hons) Degree in Political Science and LLB(Hons) degree from the University of London and a B.L from the Sierra Leone Law School. She has worked with Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited and Society for Democratic Initiatives. Jayne is currently serving as a Pupil Lawyer with Cole, Kanu & Partners a leading law firm in Sierra Leone. Miss Sankoh is the founder of the Brighter Future Foundation, a charity organization that impacted the lives of many in Sierra Leone. Since her return from the SUSI exchange program in the US she has implemented several projects that have promoted women right and empowerment. Jayne is a Commonwealth Associate Fellow and an awardee of the 2016 National Debate Heroine.
