In a strongly worded opinion piece, writer Alpha Amadu Jalloh has criticised the appointments of Dennis Amara Turay (Kao Denero) and Alhaji Amadu Bah (LAJ), arguing that their influence is harmful to young people.
He said the entertainers promote rivalry and vulgarity instead of discipline and creativity, and therefore should not serve as ambassadors for peace or culture.
The article compares their behaviour to artistes like Emmerson Bockarie, who uses music to educate and address national issues responsibly.
Jalloh called on President Julius Maada Bio to revoke the appointments and choose role models who can inspire unity and positive cultural growth.
