Hello LinkedIn family 🤗
It’s official 🎉💃, I bagged a master’s degree in Energy Management with distinction from the Aberdeen Business School.
I was also given the TelosNRG Best Dissertation Award for 2021/2022 session. Thanks to TelosNRG and my university for recognising my work for this award.
“ it’s interesting how a process that started from a simple Google search, “what is Chevening?” from a friend’s post landed me a fully funded scholarship in Energy Management at Robert Gordon University .
Indeed, it is a rare privilege to be amongst the 50 selected scholars from over 8,000 eligible applicants in Nigeria for the prestigious #chevening scholarship.
This scholarship would provide an opportunity for me to get a masters degree in energy at a University located at Aberdeen, the energy capital of Europe. My degree would equip me with skills necessary to become a future #energy leader, with a goal of ensuring sustainability in the energy sector of Nigeria.
My sincere gratitude goes to God almighty, Chevening Awards and the UK in Nigeria for an opportunity to be #chosenforchevening .
I also appreciate my friend, Jewel Atedou Bright for his guide and support in my application. To the Society of Petroleum Engineers International, APWEN NATIONAL HQ, Chikezie Nwosu,Society of Women Engineers, Oghogho Effiom, Mervin Azeta, Hajara Kabeer, SPE Lagos Section 61, and other #girlsinstem advocates , thanks for creating a platform for girls to foster diversity and inclusivity in the energy Industry.
My Chevening application journey was self reflecting and I believe this award has opened a door that would lead to many other doors of opportunities.
P.S: Please send a dm if you have questions about Chevening or need guide in your application for #cheveningscholarship 2022 awards as the application is open.
