The High Commissioner of India to Sierra Leone has met with the country’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, H.E. Kenyeh Ballay, to talk about development plans between the two nations.
During the meeting, the High Commissioner gave an update on India’s partnership with Sierra Leone. They discussed several areas of cooperation, including projects under South-South Cooperation.
Topics on the table included the blue economy, aquaculture, and the possibility of building a high-tech city in Sierra Leone.
The talks are part of India’s effort to strengthen its ties with Sierra Leone and support the country’s development goals.
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, shared that India will continue to work closely with Sierra Leone on projects that can boost economic growth and create opportunities for young people.
