Adelaja Oluwademilade, an exceptional Nigerian woman, has chosen to make a positive impact in her community by becoming a school teacher, despite receiving numerous job offers from various businesses throughout Nigeria.

Adelaja Oluwademilade earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Covenant University in South-West Nigeria. In a post on LinkedIn, she expressed her desire to become a teacher since graduation.

However, she faced reluctance due to peer pressure from seeing her colleagues and classmates working in large offices. She confessed that even after receiving multiple job offers, none of them were fulfilling.

Eventually, she accepted a teaching position in a rural area of Lagos, Nigeria, after rejecting opportunities from private schools suggested by her mother. Adelaja expressed her delight in making the decision to become a teacher, stating that it was one of the easiest decisions she had ever made in her life.

She added that teaching is her service to God and humanity, and she feels happy and fulfilled every day. Her experience as a teacher so far has been incredible, and she does not take the opportunity for granted.
