Sierra Leonean actor, filmmaker and producer Abdulai Saidu Kamara, popularly known as Glamour Raider, has travelled to Nigeria for a major film engagement involving two upcoming productions by KID-AFAN FILMS.
Kamara departed Sierra Leone on Friday, 7 August 2026, and is expected to spend between one and two weeks in Nigeria working on the new projects.
The trip comes just days after Glamour Raider signed a management contract with KID-AFAN Company Limited, marking a new phase in his acting career and efforts to expand his work beyond Sierra Leone.
During his stay in Nigeria, Kamara is expected to take part in preparations and filming for two forthcoming movies being produced by KID-AFAN FILMS.
Acclaimed filmmaker Frank Rajah Arase is expected to direct both productions, which will feature Glamour Raider alongside several Nollywood actors.
Dr Isatu Kakay-Diallo, Executive Producer and Producer at KID-AFAN FILMS, is also expected to feature in the productions.
The projects will give Glamour Raider an opportunity to work closely with experienced actors, directors and other film professionals in Nigeria’s Nollywood industry.
The collaboration is also expected to increase his exposure within the wider African entertainment industry while creating opportunities for future partnerships between Sierra Leonean and Nigerian filmmakers.
For Glamour Raider, the Nigeria engagement forms part of his wider ambition to take his acting career to a larger African and international audience.
He has previously spoken about his desire to see Sierra Leonean actors and films gain greater recognition beyond the country and compete on major African and international platforms.

Who Is Abdulai Saidu Kamara?
Abdulai Saidu Kamara, professionally known as Glamour Raider, is a Sierra Leonean actor, writer, director, producer and businessman with more than a decade of experience in the film industry.
He was born on 10 October 1990 and comes from Kontha Wala in Kambia District, in Sierra Leone’s North West Region.
Kamara attended Cathedral Boys Primary School before continuing his education at the Albert Academy and the College of Business Studies. He later studied Port and Shipping Administration.
Although he did not receive formal training in acting or filmmaking, he developed his craft through self-learning, practical experience, rehearsals and years of working on film productions.
Beginning of His Acting Career
Kamara began acting in 2006 and became a professional actor in 2009.
