The Girls Advocacy Development Network (GADNET) has officially announced the 6th Edition of its highly anticipated National Girls Summit 2025, scheduled to take place from 16th to 19th October 2025 in Makeni City. The summit, which has become one of Sierra Leone’s leading youth empowerment platforms, will once again bring together girls and young boys from across the country for four days of intensive learning, leadership training, and personal development.
Unlike many other programs, this year’s summit goes beyond empowering girls alone — it actively involves young boys as well, helping them become allies and champions of gender equality. GADNET’s inclusive approach recognizes that true transformation requires the participation of both genders in breaking stereotypes and building a more equitable society.
Throughout the Residential Camp, participants will engage in a wide range of sessions focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, personal development, innovation, and collective action. The program is carefully designed to create a safe and inspiring environment where young people can unlock their full potential, share experiences, and build lifelong friendships.
