Health-focused organisation Focus 1000 has brought together staff from all 16 districts in Sierra Leone for a national training and workshop aimed at improving service delivery across the country.
The training, held during the International Workers’ Day celebrations, brought together representatives from different parts of the country to strengthen coordination and build capacity among staff.
According to the organisation, the workshop is designed to serve as a strategic platform for aligning approaches and improving collaboration across teams. Participants engaged in shared learning, practical sessions and discussions based on field experiences.
Focus 1000 said the training will help equip staff with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver more effective, community-based interventions, especially in the health sector.
The organisation added that investing in staff development remains key to achieving better health outcomes and building stronger communities across Sierra Leone.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by Focus 1000 to improve its impact and ensure that its programmes remain responsive to the needs of communities nationwide.
