A fire outbreak on ECOWAS Street in Freetown has destroyed several shops and other business centres, leaving traders counting heavy losses in one of the city’s busiest commercial areas.
ECOWAS Street, widely known as a major business hub, was badly affected as the blaze spread through clustered shops and workspaces. Numerous properties were damaged, disrupting livelihoods and daily trade in the area.
