Having cultivated her expertise in both the United Kingdom and the West Africa region, Thompson’s wealth of knowledge promises to be a valuable asset to PKF. Prior to this significant appointment, Thompson held the prestigious positions of CEO and Senior Partner at PKF in Sierra Leone, a key member firm of the globally recognized PKF International network.
This Sierra Leonean branch specializes in providing top-tier services in assurance, accounting, taxation, and business advisory consultancy.
Thompson’s remarkable journey through the world of finance has seen her excel in a myriad of influential roles. Notably, from 2009 to 2014, she served as the Senior Financial Analyst and Energy and Telecoms Consultant at the National Commission for Privatisation in Sierra Leone, a position that showcased her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
Her professional trajectory extends to the international stage, with a pivotal role as the Business and Finance Development Coordinator at Penrose in the United Kingdom from 2008 to 2009. In addition to these pivotal roles, Thompson’s illustrious career encompassed significant stints at renowned organizations. She has worked as a Senior Consultant at ESRI UK, Senior Finance Officer at Penrose Housing Association, and Finance Officer at the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Madonna Thompson’s academic prowess further complements her career achievements. Her academic background boasts a Master of Business Administration from Hult Ashridge, enhancing her strategic acumen.
