Mohamed Kallon MOR (born 6 October 1979) is a renowned Sierra Leonean football manager and former professional footballer who excelled as a striker. Widely considered the most famous footballer from Sierra Leone, Kallon showcased his talent at Inter Milan from 2001 to 2004, sharing the field with legends like Christian Vieri, Ronaldo, Álvaro Recoba, Adriano, Hakan Şükür, and Nicola Ventola.
Before his tenure at Inter Milan, Kallon had notable stints at Serie B club Genoa and Serie A clubs Bologna, Cagliari, Reggina, and Vicenza. Post-Inter, he continued his career with AS Monaco for three years, followed by shorter periods in Greece, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and China.
A proud representative of his country, Kallon made 39 appearances for the Sierra Leone national team. He is also known as the younger brother of fellow Sierra Leonean international footballers Kemokai Kallon and Musa Kallon.

Born on 6 October 1979 in Kenema, Sierra Leone, Mohamed Kallon is the younger sibling of international footballers Kemokai and Musa Kallon. He attended primary school in Kenema and completed his secondary education at St. Edwards Secondary School in Freetown. During his early international career, Kallon was affectionately nicknamed Small Kallon by fans, highlighting his position as the youngest of the three Kallon brothers.
Club Career
Kallon’s football journey began after completing his Form Three education (grade 9 in the U.S.) at St. Edwards Secondary School in Freetown in 1994. He signed with local club Old Edwardians of the Sierra Leone National Premier League at just 15. During the 1994–95 season, he scored fifteen goals in 24 league games, becoming the youngest player to ever play and score in the league.
Kallon then moved to Lebanese club Tadamon Sour after being spotted by Ali Abdullah, the son of a Lebanese diplomat. Despite an initially challenging season due to the cold Lebanese winter, Kallon scored 15 goals in 24 games.
He also spent one season with Spånga in Stockholm, Sweden, before being signed by Inter Milan. Loan spells at Swiss Super League club AC Lugano, Serie A clubs Bologna and Cagliari, and Serie B club Genoa followed. He was later involved in co-ownership deals with Reggina and Vicenza, and played alongside Cristiano Zanetti at Cagliari and Inter Milan.
