Sierra Leonean musician Drizilik has said he will no longer treat performances outside Freetown as smaller shows, promising that fans in the provinces will enjoy the same quality as concerts held in the capital.

In a statement shared with fans, the rapper said upcoming shows across the country will include his full band, professional stage setup and sound system, stressing that audiences outside Freetown deserve the same experience.

“I’m not going to treat shows in the provinces as upline shows,” he said, adding that his goal is to deliver high-quality performances regardless of location.

Drizilik explained that his decision is driven by respect for his supporters, noting that live shows should not be treated only as an opportunity to make money but as a chance to give fans the best entertainment possible.

He said he wants audiences in all parts of Sierra Leone to enjoy the same production standard usually seen at major events in Freetown.

The artist’s comments have been welcomed by fans, especially those in regional towns, where concertgoers have often complained about poor sound, small stages and limited live performance setups.

Drizilik is considered one of Sierra Leone’s leading performers, known for blending rap with local sounds and for pushing for higher production standards in the country
