Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo, Executive Producer/Producer for Salone Discoveries and President/CEO of KID-AFAN CO., LTD, recently met with Mr. Glamour Raider, the president of the Actors Guild Sierra Leone to discuss the development of Sierra Leone’s creative industry.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo said ” It was a great meeting that focuses on the development of our creative industry” noting that she applauds all filmmakers and executive bodies who are working tirelessly to foster growth and development to promote Sierra Leone through storytelling and cinematic talents.
Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo expressed her excitement “Much respect and appreciation. I am truly honored” Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo, Executive Producer/Producer for Salone Discoveries and President/CEO of KID-AFAN CO., LTD is currently in the country to work on the second phase of her movie “Brave Quest” during her stay have had meetings with stake holders in the film industry to discuss the future of Sierra Leone’s movie industry and how they an develop it.
Actors Guild Sierra Leone is a non denominational organization designed with principles to operate in all geographical localities and to seek the welfare of all actors in Sierra Leone and Sierra Leonean Actors Abroad.
The Actors Guild was established on 12th September 2013. In recognizing the full benefit of working together as one family and desirous to promote, improve and develop the life of ACTORS in Sierra Leone.
The Guild exists to enhance actors’ working conditions, compensation and benefits and to be a powerful, unified voice on behalf of artists’ rights. The Guild is form to serve as a foundation in addressing the many unemployment rates in our country. And shall therefore encourage and protect all the rights and welfare of her members.
