On Friday April 25th 2025, the Executive Director of National Sports Authority met with few member of the SLPP Scandinavian Branch at the wakeup hotel Copenhagen.
Mr Francis Nallo it’s secretary General welcomed Dr Abdulai and team and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet even though under tight schedule, Mr Nallo was accompanied by Mr Harold Lumeh and his wife Mrs Lumeh all the way from Sweden. Their visit to Dr Abdulai marks a significant step to acquaint themselves with a senior government official and member of the SLPP.
Dr Abdulai welcomed the team and thank them for their effort, the love from them and even the thought to visit him and his team marks a new begining of collaboration with the SLPP Scandinavian Branch and to further strengthen the Party in the diaspora. Dr Abdulai emphasized that as a government it is important to deliver on Presidents Bios mandate and that is why he is here to make sure we get artificial turf and other sporting equipments and this will enhance our continuous stay in power. He expressed optimism for the future and call on the team to support Sierra Leone and the SLPP.
Mr Nallo presented a significant challenge as the entire Scandinavian Branch comprising of four countries have not been duely registered with the party which has brought significant challenge to them and to even seek for opportunity for the country as there is no consolate to even champion their diplomatic relationship with the Scandinavian countries.
The meeting ended on a high note as relevant issues wer discussed with hopes of addressing some of the issues raised in a shortest possible time.
Mr Francis Nallo had hoped for a boat and bus ride with the team with the aim to visit monuments and historical places around Copenhagen but due to time only tickets were provided by them to Dr Abdulais team which was well appreciated.
It is always a one country one people and SLPP affairs.
