Deborah Idumu, an 18-year-old Nigerian woman, is celebrating an amazing achievement, after graduating as a Software Engineer with a first-classgrade point. She graduated from Babcock University located in the South-West of Nigeria, where she was the best student in her set. Deborah spoke excitedly about her success in a post on LinkedIn: “B.Sc (hons) Software Engineering, First class honours, Best graduating student in Software Engineering,”

Not only did she strive academically, Deborah was also the Director of welfare services during her time at university.

Software Engineering is gaining immense popularity globally, with ambitious and incredibly knowledgeable individuals such as Obianuju Okafor. Obianuju, another Nigerian Lady, had the incredible achievement of graduating with a Master’s, Ph.D and a 100% grade point, from the University of North Texas, Texas, USA.
