The Dalvina Foundation has organised a charity football match in Lumley, bringing together foreign-based Sierra Leonean professionals and home-based players.
The match, held at the Osasu Field, ended 6–3 in favour of the home-based team. According to the foundation’s CEO, Dalvina Khadijatu Bangura, the event aimed to raise funds for underprivileged children and promote awareness against drug abuse.
Officials and community leaders who attended the match urged young people to avoid drugs and work together for national development.
