Graduation season is in full swing and this father-daughter duo have been blessed with a unique milestone moment to share. 19 year-old Tori Roach shared a throwback photo from when her father, 37 year-old Dennis Roach, graduated from Huntsville High School in Texas 18 years previously.

In the tweet that went viral last year and has since been shared again this weekend, both pictures are seen side by side; one of Tori as a baby in her father’s arm and then an updated shot of Tori perched on his arm, receiving a kiss on the cheek. “18 years later”, she captioned it with a pair of emojis.

Tori’s family revealed the old photo while prepping her high school graduation party last May – and it was her aunt’s idea to recreate the snapshot. Tori shared that recreating such a special moment was both “really cool” as it brought her and her father closer in an incredible way.

The recent high school graduate is now an eager student at Sam Houston State University and is planning on taking similar father-daughter photos again when she graduates in 2022 – this time from the same stadium she graduated from high school and where her dad graduated from 18 years prior.
