MaRiYoNet-Sierra Leone and the Network Advocacy for Youth Empowerment (NAYE-SL), in collaboration with the Sierra Leone Union on Disability Issues (SLUDI), are thrilled to announce the 1st National Disability and Inclusion Training for Youth Activists. This groundbreaking three-day event is set to take place from September 11th to 13th, 2024, in Makeni, Bombali District.

The training aims to equip 50 passionate youth activists with the knowledge and skills to champion disability rights, justice, and community-based inclusive development. This initiative is a vital step towards fostering a more inclusive society, where the rights and voices of people with disabilities are fully recognized and respected.

Who Should Apply?

We invite applications from:

  • Youth (Ages 15 to 30 Years): Individuals with a strong commitment to disability rights and community development.
  • Youth Groups: Organizations dedicated to promoting disability equality, justice, and inclusion are encouraged to apply as a group to maximize their collective impact.

Note: Youth with disabilities and young women are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Location: Makeni, Bombali District
  • Application Deadline: August 20th, 2024
