A young man named Debrah, who demonstrated great determination by achieving five As in the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is in need of financial assistance to further his education. According to a friend of Debrah, who goes by the handle @Chinchilla_dee on Twitter, Debrah had to sit for the WASSCE multiple times before finally obtaining these impressive results. Unfortunately, Debrah’s dream of becoming a surgeon is being threatened by his financial circumstances.
@Chinchilla_dee took to Twitter to share Debrah’s academic achievements and to call for financial support from their followers and the public. In the post, @Chinchilla_dee shared that Debrah had helped him pass his own WASSCE after he received a D7 in Maths NOV/DEC in SHS 2. He explained that Debrah had been at home for three years after they both completed their studies in 2020, constantly writing the WASSCE. @Chinchilla_dee attributed his own success in the WASSCE to Debrah’s assistance, as he had scored an A1 when he sat for the exam in SHS 3.
@Chinchilla_dee pleaded with netizens to support his friend’s education and not to let his dream go to waste. The post received many reactions and comments from social media users.
