The list is a star-stud and in equal measures a list of women who are the embodiment of narrative changing. Advocacy For Women and Youth Empowerment started a journey few years in making sure they spotlight change makers in West Area Rural District. Advocacy Organization established by forward looking young people in order to assist women
and youth across Sierra Leone in raising their voices for their rights and entitlements.

Advocacy For Women and Youth Empowerment is pleased to announce the names of the 30 Most Influential women in the Western Area Rural District 2023.
These women have gone through the internal vetting process by the award steering committee. The award committee is satisfied that those that make up the list of distinguished women this year are fit for purpose. They have shown commitment, hard work and dedication in all they are doing.
The grand awarding ceremony is scheduled for February 25th 2023 at the Western Area Rural District Council Hall.
