Bo Rangers, the football club, has secured a place in the FA Cup semifinals following their victory over Mighty Blackpool on Saturday, March 22, 2024. The match took place at the SLFA’s newly refurbished pitch in Freetown. Bo Rangers’ forward, Mohamed Lamin, scored the lone goal that propelled them to the semifinals of the SLFA FA Cup12.
In the upcoming semifinal match, Bo Rangers will face Port Authority FC as they vie for the coveted FA Cup title. Meanwhile, the Emergency Disciplinary Committee is yet to release a statement regarding the controversial FA Cup match between East End Lions and Ports Authority.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has organized this competition in a knockout phase. According to Sorie Ibrahim Sesay, the Head of Competition at SLFA, the winner of the 2024 FA Cup will have the honor of representing Sierra Leone in the Confederation Cup during the 2024/2025 season. The competition is open to all registered Premier League Clubs, including those from the First and Second divisions affiliated with the Sierra Leone Football Association
