He currently serves as Managing Editor of the Independent Observer newspaper and formerly held the role of Deputy Editor from 2002 to 2008, where he oversaw editorial content and daily operations. Beyond his national contributions, Sesay has worked with international media organizations, including the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) based in Ghana and Internews Agency in the United States.
