Anne Muraya has been appointed as the first female chief executive officer of Deloitte East Africa. She will oversee Deloitte’s offices in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and other East Africa locations the firm serves, including but not limited to Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Somalia.
Anne is a Kenyan accountant, businesswoman, and corporate executive who served as the Africa Managing Partner for Responsible Business and Public Policy at Deloitte.
She has a wealth of experience as an audit partner in charge of several companies in Kenya. She has performed quality control reviews for banking and other clients in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
