Ibrahim Bunduka, a wrestler from Sierra Leone currently based in America, has recently added to his impressive track record by winning a silver medal.
Competing in the 60kg Greco-Roman category at the African wrestling championship held in Ham Mamet, Tunisia, Bunduka displayed remarkable skill and determination. Despite falling short of claiming the gold medal, he secured victory over Mohamed Yassine Hkiri and put up a valiant fight against Haithem Mahmoud Ahmed Fahmy Mahmoud from Egypt. His outstanding performance has earned him recognition from various organizations and individuals, including the national Olympic committee of Sierra Leone.
Bunduka has a strong background in wrestling, having served as an assistant coach for the Averett University wrestling program before transitioning to a volunteer assistant coach. He has achieved notable success in the Greco-Roman discipline and other wrestling arenas throughout his career.
