Africell Sierra Leone, a prominent telecommunications company in Sierra Leone, awarded the grand prize of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand New Leones to the winner of the Win Kopo Draw, as well as Twenty-Five Thousand New Leones each to the two other winners.
The event took place on May 19, 2023, at the company’s headquarters conference room in Wilberforce. Joe Abass Bangura, Africell’s Corporate Affairs Manager, spoke about the company’s commitment to supporting young people and making a positive impact in Sierra Leone, citing previous initiatives such as providing cars, houses, and cash prizes. Africell’s Media Director, John Konteh, announced the end of the 2022-2023 Win Kopo Draw Promotion and the start of the 2023-2024 promotion, which will feature a daily draw with two winners each day and a grand prize of Three Hundred Thousand New Leones. The grand prize winner, Abdulai Bah, expressed his gratitude and plans to use the money wisely.
