A legend and a path finder for many
I knew him when i was a kid (7-9 years) (he bought me sharwama as a consideration for reading so well)
I later met him at IPAM during my CBF days.
I had just failed WASSCE again and was a time i had started reconfiguring myself to believe that education was not for me. Consequently, out of shame I dodged his classes (I was not that brilliant Navo he knew when I was a kid).
Unfortunately he caught me one day and insisted i come in to his lectures. Additionally, since he knew my reading skills were good, he instructed i read from the manual whilst he explains…i grew interest and respect in my class and attimes when he misses class, i read and explained (in otherwords, i was his assistant lecturer)
This forced me to started studying again and most importantly improved my confidence
He lectured Personel Admin and Managing people – thus, the reason why i infact continued the HR path.
So many things to say about you Dr Coker as many others before and after me
Rest in Peace
I hope we would be able to tell our story of you on much bigger platforms
Undoubtedly, you rekindled that little light of mine
