Sierra Leonean Creates Bluetooth Speaker With Radio Using 5 Gallon Container, As He Couldn’t Afford One
A 20 year old young Sierra Leonean boy attending Milton Margai school has created his own Bluetooth speaker with radio set because he couldn’t afford one, Alusine Koroma love listening to AYV radio, most times, he has to go to his friend’s house to listen to radio program, during the rains, Alusine realized It was challenging to go outside, he then started thinking about finding a local solution to his problem, Alusine started collecting local materials from the dumpsite, from use cables, to 5 gallon, speakers and created his own Bluetooth speaker with a radio.
“I got the inspiration from Kelvin Doe, I relized how Kelvin Doe AKA DJ Focus found local solution to his problem and wanted to do the same, going to my friend’s house every day to listen to radio programs was not sustainable, so I resorted to creating my own from things I collected from the dumpsite.” He told Salone Messenger.
The 20 year old genius boy is set to make the speaker with radio in large quantity for sale, He disclosed “ I am working on getting the speakers in large quantity for sale, the selling price for one is le 200,000 which is about $20″
