Sierra Leone and Liberia played to a 2–2 draw in the opening match of the Mano River Union U20 Women’s Tournament.
Kumba Abu opened the scoring for Sierra Leone in the 12th minute, before Liberia’s Victoria Watkins equalised in the 31st minute.
Maseray Turay restored Sierra Leone’s lead early in the second half, but Wonder Juery brought Liberia level again in the 67th minute.
Both teams pushed for a winner but could not break the deadlock.
The next fixtures will take place on 5 and 6 December at the Southern Arena in Bo.
