The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is proud to announce that its Vice-President II, Prince Saquee, has been chosen by FIFA to act as Match Commissioner for the African play-offs of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In his role, Prince Saquee will oversee key matches in the tournament, starting with the fixture between Nigeria national football team and Gabon national football team on 13 November 2025.
The SLFA said this appointment is a great honour for both Prince Saquee and for Sierra Leone, showing that our officials are gaining recognition on the international stage.
Prince Saquee’s supervision will help ensure those important matches are conducted with fairness, high standards and professionalism. His presence underlines Sierra Leone’s growing role in global football administration.
