The European Union has launched the 2025 EU Bus Tour in Sierra Leone. The tour began this morning in Freetown, with the first stop set for Kambia District.

Ambassador Jacek Jankowski and colleagues from the Embassy of Ireland in Sierra Leone joined the journey, along with journalists and influencers.
The week-long tour will travel across different districts, showing how the Team Europe–Sierra Leone partnership is making a difference in the lives of Sierra Leoneans.
According to the EU, the aim is to bring people closer to the projects and initiatives supported by the partnership, and to highlight the impact on communities across the country.
The EU Bus Tour has become a platform for dialogue, exchange, and visibility, connecting citizens with the work being done in health, education, energy, and governance.
