Betty Lamboi known professionally as Jelly Bee, a Sierra Leonean Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and rapper has won the “Most Trending Song of the Year” award with her latest single, High Tension, at the Juju Jeks and TikTok Stars SL Awards 2024, held at the Sierra Palms Hotel.
The track, which blends the infectious rhythms of Amapiano and Afrobeats, was officially released on November 6, 2024, and is now available across all major streaming platforms. The song has already garnered over 33,000 views on TikTok, with reactions from high-profile celebrities in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria, and around the world. Jelly Bee was nominated alongside Incredible JJ, Bless, Baki Tenno, Alieu Melody, Markmuday, Pop Ishmak and Isat.

This debut earned her recognition as the “South Best Female Rapper” and won her an award.
