Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Dr Sengeh, recently shared insights into the collaborative spirit that defines governance at State House, emphasizing the strong teamwork between himself, President Julius Maada Bio, and Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh. In a message highlighting his six years in government, the Chief Minister acknowledged the vital role of collaboration and communication in delivering effective governance.

Sengeh expressed his deep appreciation for the mentorship and support provided by Vice President Jalloh, describing him as a “solid mentor, ally, and support.” He further dismissed attempts by detractors to sow division between them, reaffirming their shared focus on advancing the country’s development under President Bio’s leadership. “We see each other multiple times almost every day of the week. While detractors can try to divide our bond and great collaboration, we will persevere and remain focused on our goal,” he stated.

The Chief Minister also praised the Vice President’s dedication to inclusion, a value that has strengthened their working relationship. According to Sengeh, there is no competition between the two; instead, they work in sync to tackle diverse tasks and support the President’s vision for Sierra Leone. “Between us, there’s never competition, only our shared commitment in supporting the vision of our boss, President Bio,” he emphasized.

He went on to reflect on the responsibilities of his role, noting, “I often say I have three bosses: the President, the Vice President, and the People of Sierra Leone.” He underscored the importance of unity and teamwork within the government, stressing that collaboration is key to achieving the administration’s goals.

The Chief Minister’s message concluded with a pledge of continued commitment to delivering on the government’s agenda, as he and his colleagues at State House remain united in their mission to serve the people of Sierra Leone.

#WeWillDeliver was the fitting end to his remarks, reinforcing his dedication to the nation’s progress.
