IOM Sierra Leone partners with Aberdeen Women’s Center to provide health care to female returnees and SGBV survivors.

Christos Christodoulides, head of IOM Sierra Leone, has announced that the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aberdeen Women’s Center to provide adequate health care to female returnees, including ante-natal and post-natal care.

The partnership will focus on providing support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and counseling.

The MoU is expected to improve the health and well-being of female returnees in Sierra Leone.
