Sierra Leone’s U17 Football Team Touches Down in Liberia for Mano River Union Peace Tournament
The Sierra Leone National U17 team has safely arrived in Liberia to participate in the Mano River Union Peace Tournament scheduled to commence today, Wednesday December 27 to Sunday December 31, 2023 at the Samuel K. Doe Practicing Field in Monrovia.
This prestigious tournament will serves as a crucial preparation for the upcoming FIFA and CAF U-17 competitions in the coming year.
Coach Alimu Koroma travelled to Monrovia with a 22-man squad and 10 officials headed by Abdul Karim Kabba for the tournament which has seen the Sierra Stars paired with Liberia U-17 in a four-match round-robin.
Optimism is high that Sierra Stars will excel at the tournament considering the skills, zeal, and tenacity displayed in the course of the preparation for the tournament
