Sierra Leone’s Govenment has declared the following days as public holidays to observe Christmas (the birth of Christ) and New Year, marking the beginning of 2024.
The press release reads;
CHRISTMAS DAY, BOXING DAY, AND NEW YEAR’S DAY
The General Public is hereby informed that the following days have been declared as public holidays throughout the country:
Monday 25th December 2023- Christmas Day
Tuesday 26th December 2023- Boxing Day
Monday 1st January 2024- New Year’s Day
