Sierra Leonean actress Alimatu Lemakhan Sesay has been nominated for the Supreme African Actress of the Year Award by the Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy (SDTA). She is competing against Ghanaian and Nigerian actresses in the same category, and the winner will be determined through public voting.
Alimatu’s nomination was a result of several public nominations made on her behalf through the SDTA website and a system of peer adjudication with final ballot tabulation by the Academy Advisory Board and Board of Directors.
This is a great achievement for Alimatu and the Sierra Leonean film industry. We wish her all the best in the competition
