Brilliant Sierra Leonean fellow, Laura Nicol who relocated in Ireland to pursue a Master of Arts in Gender, Globalisation and rights at the University of Galway, Ireland. Laura Nicol, a Barrister & Solicitor, M.A Candidate at the University of Galway, Gender Justice Advocate, 2023 United Nations GSP Fellow, 2022 Mandela Washington Fellow, and 2022 Open Society for Justice Initiative Fellow from Sierra Leone, recently announced that she secured an “A” in her research paper/dissertation on the topic: ‘A Comprehensive Literature Review on the Participation of Bangladeshi Women in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC Conferences of Parties (COPs) between 2012-2022’. Her research paper/dissertation has been recommended for publication after revision.
