Alex A. Bah is a 25-year-old Anti-Corruption Crusader and Public Relations Assistant of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Sierra Leone. He grew up in Ogoo Farm, in the Western Rural parts of Sierra Leone. He attended the Rural Education Committee Primary School Ogoo Farm and later went to the Sengbe Pieh Memorial Secondary School, Hamilton, and the Services Secondary School, Juba.

Alex started his journey as an Anti-Corruption Crusader in 2014 as a pupil at Services Secondary School and President of the ACC Integrity Club. He was featured in a number of Radio and Television programs as a pupil, crusading against Corruption, as well as participated and won multiple Anti-Corruption Competitions.

Upon his high school completion in 2016, Alex established the Youths in Action to Eradicate Corruption, later renamed to Patriotic Action For Corruption Eradication. In 2017, he was admitted to Fourah Bay College and became instrumental in reviving the Anti-Corruption Accountability Now Club and later served as its President.

In 2020, he served as an intern at the ACC and was retained upon graduation in 2021 as a Communications Officer in the Outreach Unit. He was recently redesignated as a Public Relations Assistant at the Public Relations Unit. Alex is a multi-talented individual with diverse expertise. He is a Writer, Poet, Teacher, Debate Coach, Consultant, and Diplomat.

Alex A. Bah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Political Science from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree. He is a United Nations Sustainable Development Ambassador and has been recognized for his exceptional performance in Model United Nations conferences. He has won several awards in debate competitions, including the National School Debate in 2016 and the Best Debater at Fourah Bay College in 2017.

Alex A. Bah is a strong advocate for youth empowerment and has trained numerous young people in the areas of debate and public speaking, leadership, and the fight against corruption across Sierra Leone. He previously worked as a Programs Manager for the West African Youth Network and served as the Secretary General of the National Literary and Debate Association. He also served as the Secretary General of the Rotary E-Club of Social Innovators, based in the Netherlands.

He is proudly a mentee of the Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala Esq., who has been instrumental in his unique career as a passionate Anti-Corruption Crusader. Alex is described as a humble, reserved in nature, and affable young man determined to change the narratives through his contributions to society, especially in the fight against Corruption. He has presented on Sierra Leone’s implementation of the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption (AUCPCC) at the African Anti-Corruption Agencies Heads/Representatives conference in Tanzania. His passion for anti-corruption efforts and dedication to youth empowerment and leadership makes him a prominent figure in Sierra Leone.
