During the unveiling, DJ Kallox credited his earnings from playing and promoting Salone music as the source of funding for his new home. He expressed his gratitude to the entertainment industry for their support and love throughout his career.
“I built this house solely from playing Salone music. Music has been my livelihood for about 20 years, and I am grateful to God and everyone who has supported me,” DJ Kallox stated.
He also expressed his appreciation for the artists who supported his building project, especially after experiencing flooding in previous years.
The event was attended by top entertainers, including DJs, artists, and members of the media. Many paid tribute to DJ Kallox for his contributions to the growth of Salone music and his numerous achievements over the years.
In addition to receiving multiple awards and honors, DJ Kallox has accomplished a great deal as a Sierra Leonean DJ.
