A Sierra Leonean man, Benson Kandeh, who is on a mission to build wells for people living in vulnerable communities has taken to his social media platform to celebrate his foreign friend, Kevin McCroary for supporting him with $3000 to complete his projects.
The man took to social media noting his disappointments after reaching out to several friends and family members for help.
on his Facebook page, he said
“COULD THIS BE TRUE OR AM DREAMING!!!?
I just canât say a thank you in private and not let the world know that there are good people like you living in this world

âŚ.Few months backs something happened that got me stressed and depressed and made me know the kinds of people I call family and friends.
I canât believe this!
I had a 50 borehole project I was implementing for UNDP that came to a point where I was required to pre-finance to a certain stage before I will be paid my money and I never had the amount needed to forward the project.
I decided to reach out to families, friends and partners I work with to assist or partner with me to be able to finish the project.
But to my surprise!!!!
I contacted families by thenâŚ.non could help!
I reached out to friendsâŚ.they requested for my car in exchange of two $3000 with just a week to repay and if i failedâŚmy car that worth $14000 will become theirsâŚ.these are friends that owns me and I have helped and sheltered personally by the grace of God but couldnât help with a cent!!!!
I reached out to partners to help with funds in order to enable me finish my project so I could pay them back or use the funds to do projects for them here but what happened wasâŚâŚ.one of the partner decided to help after several back and forth with questions with a condition I couldnât believeâŚ..
They designed an agreement that stated that i should pay 25% as INTREST at the end of every month and also do a well for them as compensation!!!!
This is what got me thinking afterâŚ..but thank you as well for at least willing to help with conditions.
I then contacted my other partner, friend and now a Brother and explained to him exactly the problem and why I needed the money $3000âŚ.

Within 3 daysâŚ..I received a western Union message of $3000 from Kevin McCroary to solve my problem but thatâs not all but what he ended up saying crate a change in me till nowâŚ.
