With support from SOS Children’s Village Sierra Leone, Ideal Technology, a startup tech company, will be holding their first graduation and exhibition ceremony on April 1st, 2023, after successfully training 80 youths over the past 6 weeks on how to produce organic fertilizer, do solar panel Installation and produce alarming Solar-Powered Backpack for school going people’s and Entrepreneurship Skills in order for young people to become business owners.

SOS has been instrumental in providing educational opportunities for children and young people in Sierra Leone. Ideal Technologies’ receive support from the organization is part of its commitment to contribute to the development of young people in the country.

Ideal Technologies is a company that is committed to contributing to the educational systems of Sierra Leone by providing training in critical areas that have the potential to transform lives. On April 1st, the company will be hosting its Graduation and Exhibition ceremony at the SOS Hermann Gmeiner International School Compound in Torwama Bo.
The event aims to showcase the talents of the new trainees and provide them with a platform to sell what they have learned during the training process. The ceremony will be an opportunity for the trainees to display their skills in solar panel installation, solar backpack production, fertilizer production, and entrepreneurship skills. With 80 trainees in three different areas, it promises to be an exciting and insightful event.

The backpack comes with a light and a security system that will keep the wearer safe while traveling at night. Festus is also the Africa Focal Point of Youth for Change Initiative, which is a platform through which young people can access resources, be empowered and given the opportunity to grow to become useful members of society who will participate in the development of their communities and nation. Along with another Africa Youth platform, Festus has Co-Founded the Future of Africa initiative which is an advocate forum with the aim to bring together local and international socio-economic stakeholders to support innovative programs aimed at advancing the radical and practical progress of adoption awareness-vulnerable children and youth and youth leadership-through interlinking local, regional and international resources and opportunities.
